AMEN

What is in a word? If it is the WORD of God, much light is in it....light which does not meet the eye at first glance. Take the word "amen". What does it mean to you? To you it may be a request of confirmation to God to "let it be so". It may be an indication confirming your agreement with any light you may hear. But what hidden glory not readily discernable is an integral part of that word? I was listening to Handel's "Messiah", a gift of harmony and praise concerning the meaning of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the end of the series of scriptural movements "amen" occurs in song. I was enthralled by the skill, the magnitude and depth of the talent, and the sheer beauty of the works. Then I heard a voice speaking to me and showing me the depths of the word, "amen". What will follow is what I heard and wrote down.

It is written, "What is man that thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor...", Hebrews 2:6-7. I want to start with the word "glory" and show you what it means. The Messiah in prayer to your Father said, "The GLORY which thou gavest me, I HAVE GIVEN THEM that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that THOU hast sent me, and HAST LOVED THEM AS THOU HAST LOVED ME", JOHN 17:21-23. We acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God, but what of ourselves? THE MESSIAH said WE HAVE THE SAME GLORY AS HE DOES! We should therefore "Call no man your father upon the earth, for one is your Father which is in heaven", Matthew 23:9. This may deflate the ego of some men and diminish their sense of self importance .."for ONE is your Father, the First Being and Creator in heaven. Can you say, "Amen"?! No human being is worthy of being your father! All that men supply is a small fragment of "clay" (sperm) for the creation of a clay envelope (body) into which God plants His baby spirit (you).

God has many names in glory and the glory of man is in Him literally! We are in Him and He in us as Jesus suggested in his prayer: "for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their God and they shall be my people", 2 Corinthians 6:16. To Moses God said in reference to His glorious name, "Tell them I AM sent me to you," Exodus 3:14. Since the Messiah said we are "one in him and he in us" and "our bodies are His temple"...GOD IS MAN or mankind for we are truly small fragments of His Great Spirit BODY. In other words when we combine His names, we see US in Him. I AM-IN men, and better yet, I AM MEN! "I have said ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High", Psalm 82:6. Notice that GOD SAID THIS....NOT MEN! The question is, "Do you believe the testimony of the Creator?...or the denial of your glorious origin and birthright by "would-be-wise" human preachers? Do you trust in men more?" The Messiah says you are the glory of the Father as a little piece of His immortal Self meaning your spirit, the YOU embedded in a clay suit of flesh. When "dust goes back to the earth from whence it came", you as a spirit shall return to glory from whence you came, Ecclesiastes 4:2-3, 12:7; Luke 16:22-26; 2 Corinthians 5:1-8. Therefore we should "look to the Rock from whence ye are hewn and to the hole of the pit from whence ye are digged," Isaiah 51:1. That Almighty Rock is God Himself as it is written, "Of the Rock that begat thee, thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten Him that formed thee," Deuteronomy 32:18. YOU ARE A PIECE OF GOD, A "LIVELY STONE", a chip off the old block (the Ancient of Days). He is in you and you are in Him. In fact He is YOU...the you that you refer to as "myself" and "me"! Now can you say, "Amen"?! Men are unmindful of the ROCK that begat them! When will men render to God the rightful glory due to His name, "Father", with understanding? Oh! If men would only trust in God and the WORD of God, what glories and light would become their peace!! Isaiah 63:16; Jeremiah 3:4,19.

Men have been sleep-walking. They are blind to their true birthright and paternity in God. Therefore the Messiah said, "No man knoweth the son but the Father (and here I mean your identity and glorious origin as a piece of the Rock); neither knoweth any man the Father, save the son, and he to whomsoever the son shall reveal him," Matthew 11:27. (And who do you suppose it is who told me I AM MEN?). The fact is your spirit, the real YOU, was first born in Heaven before God finished His creative work and rested and before Adam became the first child sent to be tested by the Dragon on the earth-stage. It is like Job said and now I repeat: "My WITNESS (GOD) is in Heaven and my record (Psalm 139:13-18) is on high"...namely the BOOK OF LIFE Himself, or the heart and mind of God, 2 Corinthians 3:3. And you are written in the BOOK OF LIFE (the MIND of God) exactly as it is written: "Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God...this MAN WAS BORN THERE! And of Zion (Mother Wisdom) it shall be said this and that man was born in Her. The Highest Himself shall establish Her. THE LORD SHALL COUNT WHEN HE WRITTETH UP THE PEOPLE (OPEN THE BOOK OF LIFE) THAT THIS MAN WAS BORN THERE," Psalm 87:3,5-6. So every little "chip" off the Almighty Rock has a "born right" to the Tree of Life, that is to HIM! When will ignorant men claim their birthright?...and reject pervasive errors taught as truth that some of them are not the sons of God! These "unbelievers" have little faith and they "know in part and understand in part" because they deny men their rightful glory by birth, 1 Corinthians 13:9-10. Trust God as TRUTH! And trust the Messiah as the revealer of man's inherent glory and honor. Blessed are all those who believe him, for he is the Word, and ... "it is written".

Because these truths were reality when the Messiah walked among men, he said, "I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger and ye took me not in: naked and ye clothed me not: sick and in prison and ye visited me not. Then shall they answer Him and say, Lord when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, "inasmuch as ye did it not to the least of these, ye did it not unto me," Matthew 25:42-44. Why would he say that? Because they failed to see I AMEN them and thou in me! We must see God in every man!! Messiah reminds us further, "The glory thou gavest me, I have given them". Why else did we fail to see God in the least of those rejected?...Because they were unmindful of the Rock that begot them and denied their glory, honor, and birthright! AMEN!

The heaven's declare Messiah's glory (Psalm 19:1): "Behold, I bring you tidings of great JOY which SHALL BE TO ALL PEOPLE... Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN", Luke 2:10,14. And what did the angels mean in singing "GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN"? "For this is GOOD and acceptable in the sight of God our savior who WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED, and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ; who gave himself a RANSOM FOR ALL to be testified in due time", 1 Timothy 2:3-6. Behold! That testimony is in your hand right now and printed on paper. Is He not Wonderful?! "He taketh away the sins of the world"! JOHN 1:29. "It is not the (GOOD) WILL of your Father which is in heaven that one of these little ones (any human being) should perish", Matthew 18:14. "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid upon him the iniquity of us ALL. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed", Isaiah 53:5-6. Like the song says, "When I see Jesus....AMEN"!

There is more yet about the word, "AMEN". It is a "WONDERFUL" newly revealed "NAME" for Jesus. But we do not have to wonder or wander anymore, for I AM EN him, and you are in him. "For we are all members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones", Ephesians 5:30. The glory God gave men is resting in that Word and Name, "AMEN". "These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God", Revelation 3:14. And this testimony of the Messiah is written in his blood, as every red letter edition of the Bible indicates. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a testimony he gave John to bare witness of YOU in His name. "For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren; saying I will declare thy NAME (AMEN) unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise to thee. And again I will put my trust in him. (How about you?) And again, Behold I and the children God hath given me. Forasmuch as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same", Hebrews 2:10. We pierce him in the side when we deny our brethren whom we have seen (1 John 4:20-21) are the sons of God, Zechariah 12:10. To deny any part of his body no matter how small is to deny him, even if that person is a "prodigal" or a "sinner" in the language of today's churches. AMEN! "Whosoever receiveth you receiveth me," Matthew 10:33,40. For the Great Amen "hath made of one blood ALL NATIONS of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth...for in him we live and move and have our being...for we are His offsprings", Acts 17:26,28. Let the preachers say, "AMEN"! Let the churches say, "AMEN"! That word is the last word in the Bible.

Conclusion

Jesus has many names, Isaiah 9:6. And there is glory in His name, "AMEN". Whenever you use that word or hear it spoken, understand your testimony and the glory to which you witness. When you say, "Amen", you are saying God is men (I AMEN) and Jesus is men (we are his BODY cells). Therein is the glory of MAN.
