Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath
surprised the hypocrites. Who among
us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell
with everlasting burnings? 15 He that walketh
righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain
of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,
that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his
eyes from seeing evil; 16 He shall dwell on high: his place of
defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given

Jeremiah 18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord,

saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so
are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Isaiah 28:18 And your covenant with
death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall
not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass
through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
Ezekiel 36: 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
Isaiah 43: 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Isaiah 48: 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
The answer to that question is easy! Man is the image and likeness of the Most High, who is bound on earth as a slave in great ignorance and so much poverty! Psalm 82:6-8, Romans 8:18-23, 38-39.
