True Helpfulness: "Keep Thine Eye Single"
(A sharing by Rev. F K Denison, of Santa Barbara, California)
December 12, 1976.
GOD is the Supreme Creator of Absolute Power. As part of His Over- all Divine Plan for each of His Children for their preparation for the Expression of His Absolute Perfection through them, He has conceived in full detail a changeless Plan for each incarnation. This unfolds in manifestation as one's experiences in life... in perfect interrelation with all others.
This Perfect Plan for each incarnation being God's doing, it is wholly "God's Business" to be recognized for what it is and the working out of it left entirely to Him, the Doer of All Action, in His absolute Power. Our business is to recognize fully God's Plan and Purpose and to follow the First Great Commandment... loving the Lord, our God, with all one's heart and soul and mind and strength.
We must practice His Presence deep within us until drawn to Conscious Oneness in Him... as our Lord, Jesus prayed for us. We recognize God's Purpose... leaving all others fully to Him to prepare in His own Time and Way. We think of Him EXPRESSING HIS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION THROUGH ALL as the sole purpose for which He brought us forth! As we do this, we help others far more than by anything we could possibly do in trying to change them outwardly. Also we escape what could be the very unhappy results of trying to interfere.
To think of God EXPRESSING HIS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION through anyone eliminating imperfection is the highest possible procedure we can follow in relation to others. There is nothing any higher we can do for the helping of mankind. Thus Karma we have incurred through past interference will be wiped out by out following this Highest Path. In thinking of DIVINE PERFECTION EXPRESSING through someone, we are thinking of GOD. Otherwise we are thinking of something else. In looking to GOD, we are guided by Him in all our ways, and our helping of others will always be for the best... free of any unwise mistaken action. Only the Eternal is REAL.
